Storytelling Campaign

In 2020 our project launched the Storytelling Mentors-in-Residence Campaign among the participants of our ‘Storytelling for Civil Society’ online course to help civil society organisations and civic activists to get their ideas across more efficiently and increase the engagement.

Seven organisations were selected and received support from experienced mentors in visual storytelling through our Mentors-in-Residence campaign, as well as financial support for producing their stories.

Make Roads Friendly for EVERYONE

In developed countries, having mobility limitations is no longer the impediment it once was, as adaptive mobility has significantly improved. But in Georgia road users are not safe and those with limited mobility are even more exposed. Lika wanted to raise awareness about this problem and launched an advocacy campaign for the improvement of mobility and road accessibility. This promo video was produced as a part of her advocacy campaign:

Girls Doing STEM

When choosing STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers many girls in Georgia face lack of understanding and even resistance from people around them. With #GirlsDoingSTEM campaign, Patty and her colleagues want to to increase girls’ motivation and interest in STEM fields.

Unspoken Stories

by Sübhan Həsənli, Açıq Platforma, Azerbaijan

To empower women and raise awareness on everyday challenges of women in Azerbaijan, Subhan and his colleagues developed a new media platform Açıq Platforma. They produced video interviews and short documentaries about women coming from different parts of the country and different backgrounds.
