On 3-4 June Brussels hosted the third meeting of the Steering Committee of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum in 2016. The main topics of the discussions covered the organization of the 8th Annual Assembly and the NP regional event in Tbilisi, the creation of a task force on Nagorno-Karabakh, talks about re-granting and updates from the National Platforms and Working Groups.
The Steering Committee agreed to appeal to National Platforms to elect their WG Coordinators as members of WG Councils before the Annual Assembly. It was also decided that the election lists for Annual Assemblyshould be consulted by the WG Council. Regarding visa liberalization in Ukraine and Georgia, the Steering Committee decided that the issue requires a special attention.
