“It was hard to imagine that in my fifties I would come up with a new business idea, attend trainings, and get financial support for implementing a new project”

To commemorate the forthcoming International Women’s Day , The Civil Society. Dialogue for Progressproject is presenting a feature story about a successful entrepreneur in Armenia Irina Israyelyan. Thanks to a training that Irina took part in April last year, organised by the Armenian Young Womens’ Association within the EU funded “Social and Economic Empowerment of Women in Armenia” project, she has managed to put her idea into practice. Irina built a camping site for the local tourists. It’s a wonderful story of a courageous woman who after losing everything including her son rebuilt the life for herself and the family.
