The European Union (EU) has published a report on the entry into force of the Association Agreement (AA) Ukraine-EU from 1 September 2017. This is stated in the official journal of the EU. “The Association agreement between the European Union and the European atomic energy community and their member States, on the one hand, and Ukraine, on the other hand, signed in Brussels on 21 March 2014 and 27 June 2014, effective from 1 September 2017, according to article 486 (2) of the agreement”, – stated in the message. Note, the EU Council approved the SA on 11 July 2017 than the European Union finally completed the ratification of the agreement. The signing of the SA occurred in 2014 and in subsequent years, it was ratified by the Verkhovna Rada, the European Parliament and the national parliaments of all EU countries. We will remind, earlier it was reported about the statement of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko that the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union and a visa-free regime with the EU are a real recognition of the achievements of Ukraine in implementing reforms.
